Transportation
Information
Directions to Ames and Iowa State University
Iowa State University is located in
Ames, Iowa. Interstate 35 runs north and south, just east of
Ames, and U.S. Highway 30 runs east and west, just south off
campus.
By plane
If you are traveling to Ames by air, you
will fly into the
Des Moines International Airport (DSM), where you may
rent a car or hire ground transportation to Ames. Ames
is approximately 40 miles from the Des Moines airport.

Hotel Shuttle
During the conference, a shuttle service
will be provided from the Gateway Hotel and Holiday Inn to
the conference site on the Iowa State University campus.
