Travel Information

Lincoln has a vibrant and pedestrian friendly downtown. From the central location of the downtown hotels and UNL Campus you will easily reach all the downtown restaurants , and the Historic Haymarket district after a short walk.

AIR TRANSPORTATION:

Lincoln Airport is connected to three major Midwestern hubs by three major airlines with several daily flights to and from:

• Chicago (American Airlines/American Eagle and United)
• Denver (United)
• Minneapolis (Northwest Airlines/ Northwest Airlink)

Lincoln Airport is only a 10-minute drive away from Downtown Lincoln and the conference (UNL Campus). Complimentary shuttle service is offered by downtown hotels (Embassy Suites, Cornhusker, and Holiday Inn). Upon your arrival, find the hotel courtesy telephone table adjacent to the baggage claim area and call the Hotel to arrange for pick-up.

Omaha Airport is located 60 miles from Lincoln and is served by most domestic airlines. The Omaha Eppley Airfield is connected with direct flights to many of the top 20 US destinations.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION:

From the Lincoln Municipal Airport:

• Airport shuttle service (complimentary) will take you from the airport to downtown hotels.
• Taxis (Capital Cab: 1-402-477-6074; Husker Cab: 1-402-477-4111) The taxi fare from the airport to downtown hotels is around $14 and takes about 10 minutes.

From the Omaha Airport:

Shuttle service is available from the Omaha Airport (Eppley Airfield) to downtown hotels. Reservation is highly recommended with at least 24 hrs prior to travel. Some of the companies listed below offer reduced fares for multiple parties.
