The IEEE Region 4 Electro/Information Technology Conference provides a forum for researchers to present basic or applied research results in the fields of engineering related to information technology and its applications. Research papers from electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, and medical informatics will be presented in parallel tracks throughout the conference. Conference participants will also be able to register for workshops, tutorials, and professional development seminars. Exhibits of the latest electro/information technology tools and products will be showcased. A keynote panel of leaders from the information technology industries will open the conference and help to guide participants in thinking about the future of information technology engineering.

Researchers are encouraged to submit work for peer review in all information technology research areas. The 2004 conference is organized around six primary tracks:

  • Biomedical systems
  • Communications/networking/signal processing
  • Embedded computer systems
  • Modeling, simulation, and design automation
  • Software engineering
  • Solid-state, power, and consumer electronics

Author Timeline:

  • Papers are no longer be accepted for this conference.
  • Final papers, formatted for submission to IEEE, will be due September 17, 2004.
